The Objectives of ITC

At the membership level, ITC seeks to:    

(a)   Teach and practice the Tenets of Taekwondo.

(b)   Teach and practice the value of loyalty and respect in martial arts protocol.

(c)   Promote and encourage the physical, moral, and character integrity of its members.

(d)   Teach the skills, techniques, and theories of traditional Taekwondo for the overall betterment of the practitioner.

(c)   Foster respect and goodwill between its members on a personal, family, community, national, and international level. 

(d)   Foster a peaceful and harmonious community in the world.

(e)   Uphold and practice the principles of democracy, environmental protection, non-discriminatory racial right, and world peace.

(f)   Promote and encourage the academic training of its members to self-actualize through the earning of academic credentials at various levels of martial arts training under the “Healthy Body & Healthy Mind” principle.

(g)   Contribute to the betterment of mankind as a responsible human being and upholding the value of integrity and dignity as a person in the human race.


At the organizational level, ITC seeks to:  

(a)   Develop a standardized curriculum to cover the Taekwondo martial art training from White Belt entry level to 6th Dan Senior Black Belt level.

(b)   Enhance the value of the original traditional Taekwondo by studying, learning, and teaching the techniques which are backed by scientifically proven theories.

(c)   Develop a standardized tournament competition rules on a fair and non-discriminatory foundation.

(d)   Establish local training facilities with the representation setup from the national or regional level to municipal or district level in each territory or region of representation.

(e)   Establish an ITC Headquarter, Regional Contact Office, Business Partner (aka Authorized Representative), alliance, and associate membership database.

(f)   Sanction and/or host national and international events on a regular basis unless proven impossible during a pandemic situation.

(g)   Recognize, encourage, guide, and assist affiliated organizations and members, by providing services and sharing of resources.

(h)   Recruit new members and appoint new representatives internationally.

(i)    Participate in a variety of investment opportunities to draw in active or passive income.

(j)    Explore and engage in commercial activities to raise revenue in order to be self-sustainable and financially capable as a not-for-profit organization.

(k)   Encourage the pursuit of academic credentials to raise the competence of its members as educated persons with livelihood skills.

(l)   Seek to build partnership with other martial arts disciplines through exchange of experience, knowledge, and business development for the mutual benefits of contributing to the betterment of martial arts culture and industry as a whole. 


At the Commercial Level, ITC seeks to:

(a)   Use its products, services, and other resources to generate income so as to become self-sustainable and operate favorably.

(b)   Use its products and services as resources to establish working relationship and business partners internationally to achieve common goal and mutual benefit.

(c)   Seek investment opportunities and/or partnership with other martial arts platforms, solution providers, project investment, etc. with collective strength from its business partners, alliance, and/or associates.


At the Academic Level, ITC seeks to:

(a)   Promote the concept and principle of Mens Sana In Corpore Sano, the Latin phrase of Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body; under which a martial artist should be allowed to earn academic credential with his/her martial arts training.

(b)   Develop an academic system for the martial arts training with structured curriculum and syllabi which can be recognized by accredited academic institutions.

(c)   Build a credit transfer structure under the Recognition of Previous Learning system for martial artists to transfer martial arts rank degree to academic degree.
