2025 Year End
Message
As the New Year is just
round the corner, I am writing this customary Year End Message to keep those in
the ITC family informed of some major updates in our organization.
For executive changes
in 2025, we have made a revision in signing officials for the high ranking
certificates of 7th, 8th, and 9th Dan, we want
to inform that PGM Kong Young Il has stepped down as the Honorary Chairman with
the removal of his signing capacity as a representative official in ITC. While we thank him for his presence on the
ITC platform in the past, we wish him all the best in what he undertakes to do
in the future.
In 2026, ITC will
continue to promote combat Taekwondo under the branding of ITC COMBAT TAEKWONDO
in conjunction with the works we do in the Tactical Defense Solutions
Department with Grandmaster Al Farris as the spearhead. Grandmaster Farris is a Law Enforcement
Instructor, Rangemaster, Senior Firearms & Head Defensive Tactics
Instructor, & Self-Defense Instructor. He holds three Master Use of Force
certifications in law enforcement and instructs the Force Continuum as one of
the highest ranked martial arts Law Enforcement Officers cum Instructors in the
United States Law Enforcement arena.
On the triumphant side,
Grandmaster Nick Donato was officially promoted to 9th Degree Black
Belt, which is the highest rank in Taekwondo is a Latin phrase meaning "a
sound mind in a sound body," emphasizing the connection between physical
and mental well-being,. Grandmaster Nick
Donato is also the Authorized Representative in ITC Australia and the Oceanic
Region. Grandmaster Nick Donato is a
fine portrayal of the Latin phrase “Mens Sana in Corpore Sano” for a healthy mind in a healthy body by
earning both his grandmastership and a Doctor of Philosophy in Martial Arts
Science from the West Coast University Panama in 2025 bearing the honorific
title of Dr Grandmaster Nick Donato.
ITC is also proud to
establish the Bruce Lee Legacy Board in 2025 in remembrance of Bruce Lee as the
most influential iconic legend in the history of Martial Arts. Being the Father
of MMA as he is indisputably known, what ITC is promoting coincides with the
work and philosophy of Bruce Lee’s filling in whatever the shape the need
requires to fit into the contextual martial arts application.
As we say goodbye to 2025, we want to thank your presence in the ITC family as Officials, Authorized Representatives, Members, Affiliates, Associates & Friends. We look forward to counting on your presence and support as we continue to contribute to the betterment of martial arts as an international martial arts body in the days to come. We wish you a very Happy & Blessed New Year in 2026, may the New Year bring you not just Happiness, but also Great Health, Love, Peace, & Prosperity with all your dreams come true and wishes fulfilled.
