Grandmaster Edward HK Ng started his Taekwondo training in 1979 under the mentorship of the
late Grandmaster Chew-Chai The.
Grandmaster Edward Ng took 9 years to earn his 1st Dan
Black Belt due to some interference in his rank promotion process. Thereafter, Grandmaster Edward Ng participated in
many functions and events both in Malaysia and beyond. Throughout the past four
decades, Grandmaster Edward Ng has built a solid Taekwondo
profile with diligence and dedication.
As a true example of a Taekwondo student who watched and practised the
Tenets of Taekwondo and is one of the rare members who stuck with ITF for 30
years without deviating from it despite the up’s and down’s of ITF in the
Malaysia history. The seniority of Grandmaster Edward Ng was finally recognized to earn him the Grandmaster rank of 9th Dan.
Besides his martial arts training in Taekwondo, Grandmaster Edward Ng is also a successful businessman in the tea trade and machine
fabrication industry. He possesses a
respectful leadership trait with diligence and hard work bringing him to where
he is today as an entrepreneur businessman. Grandmaster Edward Ng has acquired the
recognition as a certified instructor, certified umpire, event organizer,
seminar instructor, at the provincial level, national level, and international
level.
