Grandmaster Daniel ST Ong is a senior Taekwondo practitioner who started his training in the late 70’s under the mentorship of Grandmaster Chew-Chai Teh at Jit Sin High School in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. 

As a true example of a Taekwondo student who watched and practised the Tenets of Taekwondo from the very bottom of his heart, Grandmaster Daniel Ong is one of the rare members who stuck with ITF for 30 years without deviating from it despite the up’s and down’s of ITF in the Malaysia history.  The seniority of Grandmaster Daniel Ong was finally recognized to earn him the rank of 9^th Dan as a Grandmaster.

Besides his martial arts training in Taekwondo, Grandmaster Daniel Ong is also an expert in the field of production operation and technology with a down to earth entrepreneurship which has earned him much respect from his business partners and subordinates.  He possesses a rare leadership attribute uncommon to others, with firm determination and absolute diligence and hard work to bring him to where he is today as an entrepreneur businessman.

Throughout the past four decades, Grandmaster Daniel Ong has built a fabulous Taekwondo profile with diligence and devotion.  He has attended numerous instructor courses at various levels, participated in tournaments and championships as participant, then official, and later organizer. Grandmaster Daniel Ong has acquired the recognition as a certified instructor, certified umpire, event organizer, seminar instructor, at the provincial level, national level, and international level.
